Locating the Documents

This process can be very daunting, especially if you have never been through it before. It can also be very difficult if your loved one did not keep good records or died very unexpectedly.

My wife and I would like to come along side of you and help you through this process. I not only went through the death of one close family member, but I have experienced first-hand the loss of several family members. Over a period of about three years, I lost my father, my brother, and then my mother. None of these deaths were expected. They all came as a shock to me. Over the 10 years following my mother’s death, I went through the process of researching and dealing with closing all three estates. My father’s estate was not closed before my brother passed. My father’s and brother’s estates were not closed before my mother passed. Therefore, it was a very complicated process.

Through this process I learned about investments and properties that my parents inherited and/or purchased. I did this by looking through filing cabinets, by looking through boxes, by talking to financial advisors and attorneys, and by talking to friends and other family members.

I want to use what I have learned to help you through the process of finding and sorting through all the documents that you may need. Based on my personal experience, I can help guide you through the process of locating the important information you need to process and close an estate.

Let me help make your worst day into a better day.
